In the spirit of discovering and spreading ideas, TED has created a program called TEDx, a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
Our event is called TEDxMontaVistaHighSchool, where x = independently organized TED event. At our event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in our community.
Speakers never pay to join a TEDx event. Speaker coaching and event participation are provided free of charge. The TED Conference provides general guidance, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
All talks from our event will be submitted for publication to the official TEDx YouTube channel, the same platform that has shared ideas from TEDx events worldwide.
